I don’t really understand the SQE, confesses SQE ‘expert’

Features editor Aishah Hussain makes shocking admission as she departs Legal Cheek

A self-styled expert on all things SQE has sensationally revealed she doesn’t understand what it is.

Features editor Aishah Hussain today departs Legal Cheek after an illustrious five-year spell. Everyone from the website wishes her well with her future endeavours.

Endeavours that will hopefully include brushing up on the SQE, a new centralised assessment that is leaving aspiring lawyers across the country baffled with use of acronyms including MCQs FLK1 and FLK2.

And it’s not just students who have been left scratching their heads.

Hussain, who has penned literally hundreds of articles on SQE, admits she doesn’t have a clue either.

“I must confess I don’t really understand what the hell the SRA is talking about. I just wrote some stuff and hoped for the best. Nobody has ever questioned it — perhaps because nobody really knows what’s going on. What was wrong with the LPC?”
