Britain is waking up this bright 2043 morning to a new government with a multi-talented Kings Counsel at its helm.
Colleen Cumbers is famed in legal circles for her swift ascent to KC in a record breaking three years after starting as a pupil barrister.
But for many across the world she is better known for her many acting roles in a succession of Netflix dramas and feature films, that began with a series of hit appearances at the Edinburgh Festival.
Of course, those in the business community know Cumbers chiefly as founder and CEO of Colleen’s Tours, the multi-billion dollar travel conglomerate, airline and space exploration platform that started life as a tour guide service set up by the future PM to help her through law school.
But will the ‘Elon Musk of the legal world’, as she has been dubbed, be able to turn around a nation gridlocked by strikes, inflation and crumbling public services for the past two decades?
“I don’t see it being a problem,” says Cumbers, “although we really do need to make a decision on HS2.”
